Alumni Listserv

The Department is developing a listserv for our alums, which will provide a vehicle for more efficient and timely communications. Please take a moment to send us your e-mail address so that you can be added to the listserv.  Send your information to our office manager, Debbie Friedrich, at friedrichd@missouri.edu.  We’d also be pleased to hear any news of your activities and achievements, which eventually will be posted under “Alumni News.” 

Friends of Sociology

The Department has formed a faculty Alumni Relations Committee consisting of Professors John Galliher, Joan Hermsen, and Victoria Johnson. They’ve been hard at work organizing a group of alums and friends we plan to call “Friends of Sociology.”  A core group of alums will be gathering in Columbia on April 26 to discuss the Department’s development efforts and future directions. Participants in the core group are Margaret Levin, Cathy Jolly, Larry Koch, Charles Westerberg, and Stewart Acuff.  The faculty would very much like alums themselves to be involved in development and hope that you’ll communicate your interest to us.  Contact Professor Galliher at galliherj@missouri.edu about this.
