Doctoral Candidate in Sociology who has earned a Minor in Women’s and Gender Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management. Overarching research areas are Social Inequalities and Political Economy, Power, & Movements. Dissertation research details how a single-issue social movement network organization expanded into a multi-issue network movement organization. Three aspects are explored: how and why this shift was initiated, obstacles and struggles faced throughout this shift, and how this shift is expected to affect the outlook of this organization’s work. Expected graduation date is Spring 2019.
