Julia’s research interests are in the intersections between sociology and public health and the ways in which thinking with theory as a methodology can inform and improve health interventions, policies, and outcomes. Her dissertation is titled: Commercial Marketing and Public Health: like Oil and Water? A sociological analysis of the VERB ‘It’s What You Do!’ social marketing campaign.
